NOLS Is Moving to Google Apps!
We are pleased to announce that NOLS has chosen Google Apps for its new email and calendar platform. Our IS team has been working on the migration and is looking forward to moving employees to the new services in the coming weeks.

Calling all photographers!
Submit your NOLS and WMI course photos!
In the past we have asked that you share your photos with us for the NOLS course catalog, but our need for iconic NOLS imagery goes well beyond the catalog. We are continually looking for breathtaking photos of our courses for publications ranging from the NOLS blog to The Leader, from posters to videos.
To address our growing need for striking images, we built a searchable photo database. The database is divided into two main catalogs, unrestricted and restricted. The unrestricted catalog consists of NOLS-owned and donated photos. This is the first place we look for images. Many projects do not have a photo budget, requiring us to use unrestricted images. For projects that have a photo budget and the ideal image can’t be found in the unrestricted catalog, we turn to the restricted catalog, home to photos submitted by professional photographers and those who want to be reimbursed for their use.
We rely heavily on the NOLS community for photographs, and we are grateful for all the awesome images we receive. If you’re interested in donating to the unrestricted catalog or submitting photos to the restricted catalog, read the submission guidelines and terms and sign the appropriate form.
